Research Fields

1)         Enzyme discovery and   evolution. To discover novel industrial enzymes, such as lipase, protease;   Using directed evolution or rational design to improve enzymatic properties

2)       Enzyme structure and mechanism. Using   X-ray and NMR to solve the structure of lipase and study the interfacial   activation of lipase

3)         Protein expression. Mechanism   of high level expression of recombinant proteins in P. pastoris by   transcriptomics; Engineering of thermostable P. pastoris; Optimization   of fermentation process
